Steam and Engine Show

The Holmes County Steam and Engine Show will take place on the Mt. Hope Auction grounds August 3-5, 2023.  The show will take place on the Mt. Hope Auction outside grounds. *The Event Center building will be closed for this event.

Thurs., August 3rd

Gates Open at 9:00AM

Steam Engines Power Up & Sawmill – 9:00AM to Noon

Noon Whistle – Noon

Threshing – 1:00PM & 3:00PM

Mini Pull 34″ – 38″ Class – 2:00PM

Weigh In for 3420 Class – 2:30PM

Kid’s Pedal Race – 4:00PM

Draft Pony Assc. 52″ & Under / 56″ & Under – 4:00PM

Music by Country Line – 5:00PM

Open Horse Pull, Lightweight / Heavyweight ($10,000 purse) – 6:00PM

The Steam and Engine show is held annually on the first weekend in August. The show features a Horse Pull on Thursday evening, Tractor and Steam Engine Pulls Friday evening, and Steam Engine and Antique Tractor activities throughout the weekend.
